Under the lights, looking up is the shining galaxy
Sky Lantern Festival only once a year
is also listed on the wish list of a lifetime by countless people
This year's highly anticipated 10,000-person sky lantern event in Chiang Mai
is scheduled to be held on November 11-16
My friends, if you miss it, you have to wait another year
Every year on December 15th of the Thai calendar is Thailand’s traditional Buddhist festival-Loy Krathong. People all over the country will make all kinds of water lanterns, light incense candles, insert flowers, and put them in the river to flow downstream. Next, pray for one year of hope and good luck.
Loy Krathong
For the Lanna people in northern Thailand, during the Loy Krathong Festival, in addition to the water lanterns, a unique sky lantern activity will be added. In the beginning, it was just scattered by the people in the city and set off on their own.
In recent years, the Sky Lantern Festival has become more and more popular with locals and foreign tourists. The lighting of sky lanterns has gradually become an organized grand festival event, and it has become a sky lantern festival that "10,000 people celebrate together."
The Loy Krathong Festival and the Sky Lantern Festival are held every year on December 15th in the Thai calendar. This year they are held on November 11th and November 16th in the Gregorian calendar. It happens to be our "Double Eleven".
The splendid sky lanterns, the water lanterns swaying along the river, the candlelight everywhere in the venue and the grand parade of floats... The rich festive atmosphere gives the elegant town of Chiang Mai a magical romantic color.
Among the traditional festivals in Thailand, the well-known is of course the "Songkran Festival" in the hot summer, that is, the "Songkran Festival". If we look at the "Songkran Festival" in April, we can see the madness of the Thais in the "water war".
So, the "Loy Krathong Festival" in November each year fully embodies the charming love style of young Thai men and women, and it is also the most beautiful.
On the night of December 15th in the Thai calendar every year (November in the Gregorian calendar). Thousands of water lanterns will illuminate the rivers of all sizes in Thailand. Banana leaves are dotted with fresh flowers and candles. These traditional water lanterns will bring people's best wishes to go smoothly.
此时此刻,水灯承载着人们美好的愿望飘向远方,为人们带去慢慢的期待。情侣们在一起许愿,愿与身旁之人携手白头,美满甜蜜;家人们祈盼着健康幸福,儿女幸福。
In fact, Loy Krathong has gradually become Thailand’s Qixi Festival
During the Water Lantern Festival, people will go to the river to place water lanterns of different shapes. Whether it is a city or a town, there will be water lanterns floating on the surface of the rivers and lakes, and the candlelight is sacred and full of romance.
The most sincere blessing
