"Mazu's Going to Southeast Asia and Re-walking the Silk Road" and China-Thailand Mazu Cultural Activity Week was grandly held in Thailand from November 14th to 19th, 2019.

Mazu culture not only has rich connotations, but also its extension is very broad, involving folklore, clan, navigation, overseas Chinese, diplomacy, history, astronomy, literature, art, architecture, science and other aspects.

Mazu, a sea elf who has endured thousands of years, a peaceful bond connecting countless descendants of Yan and Huang. In her short life, there was neither classic writing nor warning words, let alone any thought system. There are only a lot of myths and legends and beautiful and moving stories left in history, but she can become the most influential sea god worshipped by the southeast coast of China and overseas Chinese in history. This is an unheard of miracle. The Mazu spirit is subtly guiding the Chinese people from the mainland to the ocean and to the world, and further carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation of hard work, courage, selfless dedication, support for the poor, solidarity and friendliness, love for peace, and fear of violence.
